Close your eyes. Now open them. You're now a 45-year-old parent. Yeah, that just happened. You walk toward your laptop. I have to do something, you think. All of a sudden, an intense pain shoots up your leg. You collapse to the floor. It's covered in landmines of... Legos.
Fortunately, this scenario doesn't have to be your reality in the present or future because Lego France teamed up with Brand Station to release a new product that will inevitably save the world we walk in—padded slippers designed to protect your feet from harm's way. As you can see in the image above, the interchangeable slippers are bright red and yellow with Lego's signature logo in the center.
In addition to keeping your feet safe, you'll also probably stop traffic, because nobody could miss these kicks for miles. Honestly, we would probably wear the Lego slippers on the go because if they can stop plastic bricks, they can stop anything from intruding. I mean, look at them. Comfort over everything. Your days of excruciating pain from taking misfortunate steps on Lego pieces are officially over.
Of course, there's a catch though—only 1,500 pairs of the slippers were produced, and they're dispersed at random to people who fill out a Christmas wish list on the Lego France website. Watch the slippers come to life in the video, below.
