let’s go get (rhine)stoned
here’s a reason to kick up your heels.
Fact: During the holiday season we turn into magpies, attracted by anything sparkly. Sequined dresses, glitter eyeliner, statement necklaces…the list goes on and on. But this year, our attention is being drawn downward, towards heels. Look closely at the designs from your favorite brands and you'll notice a very specific type of sparkle: rhinestones.
From Miu Miu to Delman to Topshop, party shoes are getting even more party to them, thanks to some carefully placed jewels. As far as holiday-wear goes, they're downright subtle (seriously--unlike a sequined dress, you can actually stare at these for more than three seconds). They're also not so wild as to limit the hours in which you can wear them--trust us when we say you can pull them on at 10 am and won't get any morning-after judgements from your fellow commuters.
