The Curator: Jade Taylor, Beauty Assistant
The Look: Libertine
Every season it's like Johnson Hartig, Libertine's designer, reads my mind using some kind of sartorial super powers--bejeweled coats, colored fur, tartan plaid, and printed tights, socks, and everything in-between--all paired together, obviously. My favorite look, modeled by one of my favorite girls Cristina Piccone, is a patched oversized coat with fur lapel, plaid pants, and printed socks with heels. #outfitenvy
The Face: Thom Browne
Last season was inspired by mental patients, and this season was inspired by wicked nuns. (Did someone say American Horror Story: Asylum?) The look was crafted by Bumble and Bumble and MAC, with Lorde-esque sooty finger tips to match.
The News: Iris Apfel Sat Front Row at Ralph Rucci
I met my spirit animal, Iris Apfel, at Ralph Rucci on Sunday. I've never in my life--not an exaggeration--been so nervous to go up and talk to someone before, but I'm so glad I did: Not only is she the nicest woman on the planet, but she let me take a few photos of her--and then told me she loved my hair! Life goals = complete.
The Song: The Wildfox Couture Playlist
Wildfox Couture played Grimes and Lorde… I mean, need I say more?
The Inspiration: Tamar Levine's Street Style
My bestie Tamar (our Associate Market & Accessories Editor) has been KILLING it this fashion week. I mean, she inspires me every day (we sit next to each other), but I've seen her style transform over the past 3 seasons and can safely say nothing has given me outfit envy like this one. Check her out in this snap featured on WWD! #werkit
