LOOKBOOK: PREEN LINE

live from london, it’s more graffiti and less ruffles!

by lauryn goldberg

Preen Line is the secondary line from London designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi, which you've seen on Agyness Deyn, Alexa Chung, and Gwyneth Paltrow. While the name on the tag might have mutated, the clothes have the designers' coveted details such as twisted fabric, skinny pants, and architectural lines.

Though it's seen as a little-sister line to its runway counterpart, some of this stuff is almost more covetable. In particular, a series of oversized dresses covered with airbrushed spots of pink, yellow, and blue, which brings a real contrast between its floral inspiration and its graffiti splattered look.

Although the ruffles may be a bit overwhelming (especially if you're on the short, tiny side of things), the pale pink fabric Preen uses on their sheath dresses is a good reminder that warmer weather is only a season away.

Plus: The models almost knocked us over at the Preen runway show
