New York Fashion Week ended yesterday with Marc Jacobs’ collection of dreamy neutral looks that were a complete 180 from the baroque, Victorian, embellished collection he showed for fall. (The only constant were the blunt wigs and It Girl cast--this season included Langley Fox Hemingway and Kendall Jenner.) But just because the runways are over in NY doesn’t mean I’m giving up the runway fun. Instead, I’ve started planning my spring look around Miu Miu’s spring ’13 ad campaign. So, yes, I might be a year late to the Miu Miu party, but better to be tardy for the party than to miss it completely, right?! Helping transform into Bette Franke, the star of the brand’s ad campaign shot by Inez and Vinoodh, is this cropped bra top from Brand + Label. Part-lingerie, part-top this badboy is perfect for layering under a blazer a la Sue Ellen Mischke or over a white T-shirt like Gwen Stefani. Either way, it’s a win-win, so get yours here and join me in preparing for spring.
editor’s pick: it’s always fashion week
... in my mind at least.
