Nick Jonas + Demi Lovato Talk Dating + Sing Classics on “Carpool Karaoke”

Is this the best one yet?

"Carpool Karaoke" has quickly become one of the most popular segments in late night, which means we can expect to get one pretty much every week from here on in. But even the folks at The Late Late Show felt that the formula—James Corden drives around with a huge pop star for 10 minutes, and together they belt out the biggest hits from said pop star's catalog—was getting a little stale.

We know this because last week, Corden and his guest Gwen Stefani picked up two hitchhikers who just happened to be George Clooney and Julia Roberts. The move didn't make much sense, but boy did it get some clicks. For this week's installment, Corden rides with not one, but two pop stars in the form of Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.

At one point, the trio even leaves the confines of the car to belt out a sidewalk performance of Lovato's hit "Confident" as the supergroup JND. The rest of the time is spent riffing on Lovato's and Jonas' love lives and the nature of their own relationship. "I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I kinda go for older guys, no offense,” Lovato said while shooting a mischievous look in Jonas’ direction.

Corden then probes Jonas about his dating history with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. “Cyrus, Gomez, Cyrus, Gomez and then I don’t know what else happened,” Lovato said about the fuzzy timeline of the now-defunct relationships.

The trio also plows through some of Nick and Demi's most infectious bangers, including “Heart Attack,” “Cold Stone,” “Close,” and “Jealous.” They even pay tribute to Nick's brother Joe with a rousing rendition of DNCE's "Cake by the Ocean."

Does this mean we might see Corden make a guest appearance on Nick and Demi's Future Now tour? Fingers crossed.
