Spring Break Survival Guide: What To Pack

near, far, wherever you are

No matter how old we are, or for how long we've been out of school and in the working world, we always look forward to spring break. It's the one time of year that is specifically designated for full-on relaxation and, usually, has no familial obligations attached to it. Between planning the vacation and packing for it, we can't decide which is more challenging. We decided to tackle both so you don't have to. We've already shared a few destination spots that might be worth checking out, so now we're prepping you with everything you need to stock up on.

Near, far, wherever you are, these products will have you covered. They are the seven items that we swear by and can't live without in general, but especially during a vacation. All of them are multifunctional and travel-friendly too so you can lug them with you when you're on the road whether that means cruising on a boat, jet setting on an airplane, riding a train, or driving across states in an old-school automobile.

Shop all of the items in the gallery, below, and bon voyage.

Sometimes, sunglasses aren't enough to shield your eyes from the harsh elements around you. This multitasking eye serum contains SPF that will conceal, brighten, and hydrate your eyes. (It also prevents dark circles, puffiness, and pigmentation.) Protection on lockdown.

Boscia, All-In-One B.B. Eye Brightener SPF 20, $38, available at Boscia.

I don't know about you, but I love me a good face spray. This tiny bottle contains an abundance of minerals and nutrients to refine your precious pores. This is your secret weapon for clean skin whether you're using it as a makeup remover or cleanser. One spritz and you'll be feeling super refreshed and ready for your next activity.

Of all the things that you could forget to pack, deodorant should not be one of them. We'll be first to admit that those big roll-on sticks are really annoying though. This natural deodorant is a spray, equipped with a delightful scent and a formula that lasts all through the day. Now go out into the heat and live a little.

Erbaviva, Jasmine Grapefruit Organic Deodorant Travel Size, $7, available at Erbaviva.

Depending on your mode of transportation, you might be limited to the size of the items you're bringing on your journey. Instead of packing all of your masks, moisturizers, and cleansers, why not opt for something that combines all of the above? This cleansing stick is your skincare cheat sheet and gets rid of all the dirt, oil, and other impurities hidden within your pores.

Boscia, Charcoal Deep-Pore Cleansing Stick Treatment, $28, available at Boscia.

When you're on vacation, the last thing you want to deal with is your period. It totally kills the mood. Instead of packing all of those pads and tampons, why not try period-proof underwear? It costs more upfront, but you're saving money in the long run. We've tried it here and assure you that this really does work.

THINX, Hiphugger Panties, $34, available at SheThinx.
