petal pusher

the latest crop of flower-covered sneakers.

by faran krentcil

When it comes to footwear, summer guarantees two things: A flood of plastic ballet flats, and a new trove of floral kicks. And even two years after Nike made the definitive flowers-and-high-tops pair, they're still going strong:

Lanvin's luxury pair indulges in a tropical orchid print - and a massive price tag.  Urban Outfitters has some canvas Liberty sneaks that sell for $15 each.  And Bensimon, the eco-friendly shoe line, made their own pair of blossoming low-tops to celebrate and support nature at the same time.
