Everyone’s favorite tribe of traveling music-makers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is back…

by Josh Madden

Everyone's favorite tribe of traveling music-makers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is back with third edition to their incredibly successful catalog, which includes previous releases Up from Below and Here. This morning our friends sent over their very first track from their upcoming album, which will be self-titled and released July 23rd, if this lead single is any indicator the new collection of songs is going to be their best yet. The single "Better Days" features the band's signature hand claps, choir-like choruses, and shouts. The anointed lead vocalS from Alex Ebert, the recognizable response from Jade Castrinos, and the algorithm of constructing a proper song of celebration executed by a backing band of capable musicians is what these guys do best. This soulful tune is bound to fill music halls and festival fields all summer long. Speaking of which, check out the band's tour schedule HERE and look for the pre-order of their new album next week.
