premiere: the wildskins “remember” video

All your soul-pop needs in one video…

by Christian Lavery

It's not everyday you hear a song and know it's headed for bigger places-- today is one of those special days all thanks to The Wildskins.

The Wildskins are a new band from Dayton, Ohio--and when we say new, we mean they only have 1 month under their belts. "Remember" is the second single the've released in this short while, but it resonates with bands that have been at it for years. The groove cuts in immediately and bumps with you the entire way. Vocal harmony placement is in-fact a science and these two got it down--if you guys ever need a third harmony hit us up!

The video for this song takes all it's musical goodness and portrays it in a truly creative way while the tiles constantly changing keeps your eyes bouncing around--to be honest it's a fun video to watch.

Joey Mcfaddin, half of the projects musical mastermind comments:

"Remember" is the next piece to the Wildskins puzzle. We are going to continue to release songs that show our widespread influences, introducing new sounds that we have created as we evolve in our songwriting process. This is definitely a good stepping stone towards what you will be hearing from us. We are really trying to be honest and relatable with this single especially. I think it shows our versatility with pop music and that definitely sets us apart."

McFaddin also elaborated on the future of The Wildskins and specifically on the new single stating, "We are going to continue to release songs that show our widespread influences, introducing new sounds that we have created as we evolve in our songwriting process." The Wildskins will be releasing their debut EP the end of summer.
