Sia, Natalie Portman, And Jimmy Fallon Sing “Iko Iko” Just For The Hell Of It

true story!

by Ben Barna

Jimmy Fallon will do just about anything to get you to watch his videos, and here's proof. In a new video, one whose origins we have no interest in knowing so as not to spoil its wonderful randomness, the Tonight Show host is joined by The Roots, Sia, and for that extra touch of virality, Natalie Portman (what?), for a rousing rendition of "Iko Iko," that classic New Orleans song popularized by girl group The Dixie Cups in the mid '60s. Everyone's wearing Sia wigs (where can we get one of those?), people are playing spoons, cups, buckets, everything. In fact, here's the full instrument list is:

Sia - vocals

Jimmy - spoons

Natalie - blocks

Questlove - kick drum, wood block

Kamal - conga drums

Frank Knuckles - plastic paint bucket

Mark Kelley - cups

Tuba Gooding Jr. - guiro

James Poyser - deck of cards

Captain Kirk - cue ball & 8 ball

Black Thought - maracas

Enjoy!
