By now, everyone is aware that Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Half of you probably don’t care at all, while the rest of you have been planning this out for weeks, booking reservations, ordering thoughtful gifts, and arts and crafting galore. Nothing sets the mood more than playing the right song though, and Spotify is always one step ahead. Today, the streaming service launched Love Notes, a tool that allows users to compile perfect playlists for the ones they love with a hidden message included.
It’s a pretty simple algorithm: Select three genres of music, type a message in 54 characters or less, and then Spotify generates a playlist with the first letter of each track spelling out the message for your Valentine. (Note that the playlist can contain a maximum of 54 songs.)
In celebration of the launch, Spotify revealed the 10 most popular sex songs. We weren’t really surprised that hip-hop dominated the list, but do any of the song rankings surprise you? We’re disappointed that women didn’t make the cut, but it’s not like this is coming from our personal Spotify accounts so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
