SUGAR LIPS

pretend you’re all grown up - we won’t tell.

It's easy to ditch the junior's aisle for Barneys' Third Floor, but when it comes to makeup, it's a little harder to admit you've grown up.

Case in point: Lipsmackers, the gooey, sparkly glosses that often tasted like a soft drink, and definitely tasted like your first kiss... and second, and third, and fourth.

The reality is, you can no longer whip a tube of Dr. Pepper Balm out of your PS 1 bag without looking a bit strange.  So maybe consider this upgrade:

Crabtree & Evelyn have a new stash of "lip butters" in mint, lemon, and vanilla.  That sounds boring, but the reality is, they smell and taste like hot chocolate, Blow Pop, and Magnolia Cupcake frosting, respectively.

They've got your sweet tooth covered, but also some essential oils to make sure your lips actually get the moisture they need.  And thanks to the cute-but-not-Hot-Topic packaging, you've got your reputation as a trend setter covered.

Not bad for something that's $7.50 and sold at the mall.

Crabtree & Evelyn Lip Butter, available online and in your local galleria.
