Taylor Swift’s Mom Presents Her With Award

Taylor Swift received a Milestone Award at the 2015 ACM Awards yesterday. But what made the occassion much more special and heartfelt was the fact that the singer's mom was the one to give out the award. And, of course, she had some sweet words to accompany it.

"I've watched this milestone artist from the time she was a tangled-haired little girl growing up on our farm, full of imagination and creativity until right now, as she prepares for her next world tour, and ever since then, her favorite thing in the world to do has been to write a song, tell a story, play a guitar, or piano, and I've seen those things carry her through every emotion, every experience in her life, good or bad," her mom recounted, revealing to us a more intimate view of Swift. 

Before she ended her introduction, she spoke directly to Swift's fans, saying "I know you love her as I love her, and for that, I thank you eternally."

This is an especially emotional time for Swift and her family, as she recently shared with her fans the news of her mother's cancer diagnosis. The night was a reminder of Swift and her mother's loving and supportive relationship.
