The News: Alexander Wang’s Marble Surfboards Star in a New Film

With the obsession of the Surfboard (thanks Bey!) comes Alexander Wang with the chicest surfboards I’ve ever seen, making me want to live in California and surf all day. This new 55-second video Wang released has a twilight-zoney JAWS esque feel as you see black liquid, waves, and rocks hiding for cover as the signature surfboards approach.

    The Look: Coach FW14 Campaign

Coach is branching into other fashionable domains, doing wonders for your fall wardrobe. The collection is full of amazing coats, sweaters, and shoes—anything and everything that will keep you warm once the 40s hit and you just want to stay inside.

The Face: Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks, $27

Meet your new go-to compact. If you run out of the house without make-up on, or if you need a quick touch up, just use this Bobbi Brown staple to add some color to your lips or cheeks!

The Inspiration: Kate Unsworth for ASOS Magazine

If you haven’t checked out ASOS’s digital magazine, now’s the time. Kate Unsworth, CEO/Founder of Kovert Designs, maps out tomboy tailoring and how to wear it to work, not to mention the fact that she makes it fully shopable on Tomboy tailoring is the perfect wardrobe style to get you through your transition from summer to fall, pairing coats with shorts and and sneakers, crop tops with trouser pants, and collared shirts with leather jogging shorts.

The Song: “Chains” by Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas came into the office a couple weeks ago to let us preview some of his songs, “Chains” being one of them. Needless to say, I’ve been listening to it non-stop since. The music video is nothing you would expect from the boy band image he once had—it’s artistic, emotional, and, all in all, amazing.
