What do you do when your child gets into the college of their dreams? Likely freak out. We wouldn’t know, though, we’ve only been on the receiving end of the excitement at this point. But, we imagine you take their joy and make it your own.
In Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler’s upcoming movie The House, they do just that… for about a scene. Then, the reality of how much tuition will cost them starts to set in. Instead of talking to their child about applying for scholarships or, you know, applying for these (devil-like) things called loans, they get involved with an underground casino. Which is, in reality, a house with a built-in strip club, nail salon, and an 11-year-old DJ. But, close enough; it’s where they can earn some quick cash.
Will the gambling lifestyle get to their heads? Of course! It’s a comedy starring Ferrell and Poehler, did we not make that clear? We’ll get to see what kind of antics the two get into come June 30. For now, you can watch the trailer above.
