Tove Lo Teams Up With Charli XCX, Icona Pop, & More For “Bitches” Video

2018 is the year of girl power collaborations. Next up, Tove Lo gathered Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant, and ALMA for a remix of her song “Bitches.”

In the video, also released today, the girl gang play professionals hired to help a lost man satisfy his girlfriend. They teach him proper tongue techniques, incorporate some BDSM, and take a break to eat sushi. “Let me be your guide when you eat my pussy out,” Tove Lo sings in the background. “'Cause I've had one or two, even a few/ Yeah, more than you.”

The song itself may or may not carry controversy similar to Rita Ora’s “Girls.” Tove Lo basically talks about not trusting girls, but using them for sex. The singer has said in the past that she identifies as bisexual, but at one point referred to herself by the questionable term “hobby lesbian.” Icona Pop said in a statement about the collaboration: “Tove is one of our best friends and when she reached out it was a no brainer. Everyone on this track is so different. All are boss ladies in our own way. Together we felt like Spice Girls 2018 on set!”
