You’ve Got To See Zoë Kravitz Battle Jimmy Fallon In “Inflatable Flip Cup”

A clash of titans!

Zoë Kravitz visited NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and offered us one of our favorite new moments in late-night programming. Granted, most moments involving Kravitz—who graced NYLON's cover last year—have profound value for us. This one, shown above, however, is magic thanks to its overwhelmingly sheer silliness.

Having lost a previous round of giant beer pong to Kravitz, Fallon challenged her to another good, old collegiate drinking game—this one with another ingenious twist. Dubbed “Inflatable Flip Cup,” this edition of the familiar pasttime saw Kravitz and Fallon wearing big, air-filled suits that made them look like either a colorful version of Missy Elliott in “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” or Violet Beauregarde after she chews the gum, take your pick. One can guess that the giant sumo suits were supposed to impede the contestants from properly flipping their cups, but, as you’ll see, it’s more of a visual gag than anything else. (Oh, and, no, that's probably not real beer in there per network standards and practices.)

Now, it would be just unfair to spoil the finale of this tight, heated contest of champions, so we’ll just say that Kravitz does fairly well despite what she says is her disadvantage in the game. “I didn’t go to college,” she says. “This isn’t fair.” Damn, this is some good late-night TV.
