Amandla Stenberg’s Best Beauty Looks Are Full Of Graphic Eye Looks & Whimsical Hair Changes

As a young star in The Hunger Games franchise, Amandla Stenberg made one of their first red carpet appearances with soft swooping curls and a pink-tinted lip color.

Again having fun with lip color, Stenberg wore a shade of orange shimmery lip product for this event. They also wore their hair in braids, capping the ends with black beads.

Debuting the first of many major hair color transformations to come in their beauty evolution, Stenberg rocked silver undone braids with a pink lip.

In keeping with the extravagance of the 2016 Met Gala, Stenberg added a silver hair accessory to their Afro for a look described as "Afro futurist."

Shaving their head in 2017, Stenberg unveiled the much shorter style with a bright, bold blue lip.

Creating a smoky cat eye for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Stenberg accessorized the look with a long ponytail that started with a woven top knot.

Matching their makeup to their outfit, Stenberg wore baby blue eyeshadow swathed across much of her lids. Keeping the rest of the makeup very neutral, Stenberg then sectioned hair into bantu knots.

Stenberg used a black headband to push back some of their voluminous Afro. Their choice of eye makeup — shimmering purple shadow — proved a perfect pairing for the look.

Stenberg's beauty look was nothing short of stunning for this 2018 event. Wearing shoulder-length braids with red, orange, and yellow strands weaved in, Stenberg coordinated the braid's coloring with their choice of makeup.

Orange eyeliner worn in a negative space cat eye pattern was the focus of this beauty look.

Stenberg went subtle for the Oscars, wearing soft, neutral makeup that perfectly accented a low, ornate bun compromised of braids.

Stenberg created an ombre effect with their eyeshadow, beginning with gold at the inner eye, and ending with a shade of black. The star also piled their thick, blue box braids atop the head into a ponytail.

Stenberg debuted bright blonde braids that framed her face for this look, which also included navy eyeshadow flecked with metallic shimmer.
