I Put Satin Athleisure To The Test — & It’s Way Tougher (& More Versatile) Than It Looks

As a shopping editor, and someone who stays active despite a desk job, I’m in a somewhat co-dependent relationship with my activewear, wearing it from studio classes to dog playdates to last-minute dinner plans. So when I got the chance to try out pieces from Athleta’s new Featherweight Satin Collection, I was curious to see if the sleek line could handle my real-life wear and tear. And since I’m 5-foot-1, the adjustable features peppered throughout the collection proved to be especially petite-friendly. Notably, the Featherweight Satin Jacket’s bungee cords at the bottom allowed me to create a cinched look that actually hit at my natural waist.
