Milli Point Two’sKidswear Capsule, “LITTLE RASCALS” Is Rooted In Craft And Narrative

The L.A. label’s first children’s capsule, Milli’s Little Rascals, proves luxury and childhood chaos aren’t mutually exclusive.

If you’ve been sleeping on Milli Point Two, the release marks a less common approach within the kidswear space. The Los Angeles-based brand, known for its emotionally charged designs and fiercely loyal “Clique” of devotees, has dropped its first-ever kids’ collection, and it’s not the cutesy miniaturized version of adult clothes you might expect. Milli’s Little Rascals is a full-on luxury capsule featuring over 20 unique styles, Italian fabrics, exacting construction, and is built for kids aged 6 to 10.

Chaos, Care, And Premium Denim

At the heart of Milli’s Little Rascals is a contrast between different design elements: the collection combines expressive design with structured construction. That’s very much the MPT way. The brand has always operated at the intersection of tension and tenderness, and here that ethos gets translated into tiny Dissector jackets (offered in multiple colorways), a Fulminator denim jacket, silk Jayrunner and Umpire sets in black-and-white and burgundy/milk, and taupe Jayrunner pants. Statement details include the recurring Dandelion patch print and the new cropped Minute Taker denim shirt, plus the Vitra colourway, which arranges fragmented 3D pieces into vivid blocks of color. The overall aesthetic reflects themes associated with childhood energy and spontaneity.

The materials list reads like it belongs on a grown-up runway: signature Italian full-grain Bovina leather, nylonide silk, wool/alpaca blend knitwear, and baby blue high-density Italian denim. The craftsmanship is especially notable at this scale; the complexity of construction only intensifies in miniature proportions.

Price-wise, the collection runs from $390 for a basic tee to several thousand for leather outerwear. The collection appears positioned toward longevity rather than fast-fashion cycles.

The Story Behind It

Every great MPT drop comes with a narrative, and Milli’s Little Rascals is no different. The collection arrives alongside Dandelion, a short film shot entirely on 16mm 500T film over just two days. It stars Tomo, one of the brand’s co-founders, alongside real family members and close friends, and it’s set in Samobor, Croatia.

The film takes its name from something deeply personal: a hand-drawn dandelion made by Tomo’s youngest son, later tattooed on Tomo Sr.’s hand. That gesture, small, tender, indelible — became the emotional anchor for the entire collection. The dandelion appears throughout as a recurring patch print: delicate but in motion, rooted yet dispersing.

Dandelion the film riffs on Croatian diaspora culture, following a fictional character, Uncle Lew, a character who arrives from L.A. bearing meaningful gifts, stepping into a family world that is chaotic, intimate, surreal, and warm. The scenes are less about plot than feeling: the humor of reunion, the texture of memory, the way love tends to show up sideways. The film focuses on atmosphere and emotion rather than a traditional narrative.

Beyond the beautiful objects themselves, Milli’s Little Rascals suggests a broader perspective on kidswear design. Rather than shrinking down an adult collection into something cute and saleable, MPT approached this capsule with the same seriousness they bring to everything, letting kidswear carry real weight, real detail, real intention.

There’s also something relatively uncommon in the approach to the way the collection was made. MPT incorporated premium fabrics already held in the studio, operating from a belief in avoiding waste while fully honoring quality. In an era of endless overproduction, this approach may also reflect an emphasis on controlled production.

Milli’s Little Rascals will be available through Milli Point Two’s upcoming flagship and in a limited online release at www.millipointtwo.co. Previous releases have been limited in availability.
