Nordstrom Celebrates Virgil Abloh With Latest “Concept 018” Pop-Up Collection

Dedicated to the late designer's work in fashion, art, and culture.

Nearly nine months after Virgil Abloh’s passing, the late designer’s estate teamed up with Nordstrom for a series of capsule lines, titled “Concept 018: Virgil Abloh Securities,” for its New Concepts@Nordstrom shop. The collections encompass many of Abloh’s creative endeavors throughout his career in fashion, art, and culture.

Nordstrom’s shop features both men’s and womenswear pieces, starting with an exclusive capsule from Off-White. You can find embroidered T-shirts and varsity jackets, joggers, and kilts for men. There are also dresses, cropped tees, and so much more, priced from $400 to $4,465.Courtesy of Nordstrom

The “Canary Yellow” collection features logo-adorned T-shirts and others with Abloh’s signature strip or quotes like “Design is the Freshest Scam.” There are also Denim Tears x Canary Yellow hoodies and Pyrex tops, among other fun knickknacks like candles and keychains.Courtesy of Nordstrom
Other pieces in the shop feature a collaboration with skateboarder Sal Barbier. You can shop items like T-shirts, jackets, jeans, and sneakers, with prices ranging from $335 to $940. There is also a selection of decorated skateboards retailing for $545.Courtesy of Nordstrom
Lastly, the “Figures of Speech/Brooklyn Museum” line includes a range of adult and children’s apparel, with pieces like boxy T-shirts, oversized hoodies, and track pants. There are also goodies like tote bags and mugs, and prices range from $9 to $130.Courtesy of Nordstrom

Nordstrom is also supporting Abloh’s “Post-Modern” Fashion Scholarship Fund, which will include a direct donation to selected scholars and provide the opportunity to join mentorship sessions with the store’s executives to learn in-depth about the retail business.Courtesy of Nordstrom
