After revealing her pregnancy in a new music video for the song "Never Worn White," Katy Perry hit the ground running in Australia, where she's been making public appearances over the past week. On March 11, the pop star performed in Victoria's Bright at the Fight On concert, which was free to the public and helped benefit the town's firefighters and communities affected by the bushfires earlier this year.
For her live performance, Perry leaned into the neon color trend, wearing a short Valentino dress with puffy sleeves from the luxury brand's Spring 2020 collection. She doubled down on the bright hue with matching Alison Lou "Loucite" jelly hoop earrings and a bold cat-eye. For shoes, the singer went for comfort, finishing her look with a pair of blue iridescent sneakers from her own footwear line. (Though, if Perry wanted to go full DayGlo monochrome, she would've worn them in yellow instead.)
While Perry has been in Australia, we've seen her wear abstract prints from Mara Hoffman and '60s-inspired mini-dresses. Since her big announcement, Perry has still maintained her penchant for bold fashion choices when it comes to maternity wear, and so far, it's been a delight to watch.
