Meghan Markle has just given birth to the latest royal baby. And, spoiler alert, it's a boy!
Baby daddy Prince Harry announced the news to the press while standing in front of two horses, and appearing completely overjoyed. "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby joy early this morning," he says. "A very healthy boy, mother and baby are doing incredibly well." He goes on to add that this was the first birth he's been present for and that he's "incredibly proud" of his wife. "How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension." Truly!
Harry also shares that the two are still thinking about names and that they'll appear in front of the press "in two days time" to reveal the name and show off their new addition with whom—and we can't stress this enough—Harry is already quite smitten. "As any father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I'm just over the moon," he says.
Congrats to both Meghan and Harry for their new bundle of joy, and also to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis for getting a new baby cousin. And in case you were keeping track of the lineage, the new royal baby is seventh in line to take the British throne, according to reports. It's still unclear whether the child will receive a royal title.
