Cool Puffers Were A Street Style Hit At New York Fashion Week
From trippy prints to interesting fabrications
We've hit the home stretch of New York Fashion Week, and the street style crowd is still giving us a ton of fashion hits. On Tuesday, cool puffers were among some of our favorite looks, from trippy prints to interesting materials. Usually, we turn to a staple color (read: safe) for this type of outerwear, like black or army green. But where's the fun in that? We love how showgoers opted to turn this classic garment on its head, with cropped silhouettes, floral prints, denim details, and more.
The penultimate day of New York Fashion Week had some major moments. For starters, there was a surprise performance from THE Debbie Harry, as she performed the Blondie hit "Dreaming" for the Coach runway show finale. Rodarte showcased its usual dreamy, goth-inspired designs in a photo-worthy church, and Prabal Gurung took over the very fancy Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center to debut his namesake label's Fall 2020 collection.
Now that the rain is gone, the sun is shining, and we've finally arrived to the last day of fashion week (see you soon, Marc Jacobs!), we can only imagine how great the street style looks will be on Wednesday.
Check out all of our favorite street style looks from day five of New York Fashion Week, below.
