White Claw Halloween Makeup Is A Thing Now, And It's Terrifying
I'm not sure what to make of this
If you have no clue what to do with all of those White Claw cans you've accumulated over the summer and kept for posterity, here's an idea: use them for your Halloween makeup. It's what all the cool SFX makeup enthusiasts are doing just in time for October 31. White Claw Halloween makeup is apparently "very easy to do," and only requires some fake blood, liquid latex, tissue paper, and, of course, an empty can of White Claw.
The gory makeup look, which is blowing up on Instagram, is apparently what happens when the unofficial tagline, "Ain't no laws when you're drinking claws," takes a tragic turn. To get the look, people are cutting empty cans in half and then, using a barrier of liquid latex (because sharp edges), sticking them on their foreheads and building them up to create a wound-like appearance.
Makeup artist Katie Vigil, who showed one such look, offered up a disclaimer at the bottom of her post, urging people to be safe. "Cans are very sharp and if you are to run into something wearing this on your head," she cautioned. "No matter what you do it's bound to push through with enough force. I DO NOT recommend wearing this outside, just taking pictures then removing."
If you still want to try this look for yourself, YouTuber Alyssa Lynn offered a White Claw Halloween makeup tutorial. Watch it, below, and see some of the other looks further down.
