Sophie Turner Wore The Same Dress As Taylor Swift In 2016, And I'm Still Obsessed
The actress pulled the iconic look out for Joe Jonas' James Bond-themed birthday party
Sophie Turner wore the plunging neckline gown to end all plunging neckline gowns to celebrate husband Joe Jonas' birthday this past weekend, and we've definitely seen that look before. Turner wore the same deep midnight navy Alexandre Vauthier haute couture gown that had all eyes on Taylor Swift back in 2016 when she made her way into the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Though the two styled it pretty similarly, I'm still just as obsessed three years later.
When attending the Vanity Fair bash, Swift kept it simple with a gold box clutch and matching strappy heels, letting the showstopping dress take center stage.
Similarly, Turner threw on a pair of strappy gold heels and kept her hair down. The theme of the bash was James Bond, and if Turner and Jonas aren't the next Bond couple based off the below Instagram photo alone, I'm pretty sure we should riot.
When the gown first hit the runway in Paris back in 2013, the torso fabric was styled to look more like a halter and covered the collar. While this look is fab, Turner and Swift were so right to lean into the plunge and let the gold neck detail shine.
