We’ve tested all sorts of subscription boxes—from kawaii, to beauty, to workout gear—and now it’s time for us to try out something a bit more, well, personal: underwear.
Don’t deny it, we all have a few pairs of embarrassing underwear we really just need to part with, but somehow they still end up lurking at the bottom of our drawers. Now that you can get new pairs delivered to your door each month, it’s never been easier to stop this awful habit. We tried out seven of the most popular underwear subscription brands—Skivvie NIX, Bootay Bag, Panty Joy, The Enclosed, Underclub, Me Undies, and Splendies—so that you can figure out which one is the right fit for you.
Toss those granny panties and prepare to be sent the cutest new undies. Click through the gallery below to get the nitty gritty on these awesome underwear subscription boxes.
Our Favorite: Skivvie NIX
Cost: $19 per box, month to month, $18.50 per box for three months, $18 per box for six months, $17 per box for one year (all boxes contain two pairs of underwear)
The Dirt: Skivvie NIX definitely wins for overall adorable-ness of their packaging and product names. You can choose from three different boxes: T-Bone, which contains two thongs; Tenderloin, which contains one thong and one cheekie; and Rump Roast, which contains two cheekies. As you can see from the photo, the undies are sent to you in what resembles meat packaging, and covered in labels such as “Free range, ass fed." You get to choose between basic, neutral, or mixed colors. Oh, and the underwear itself is extremely comfy, I chose Rump Roast for myself.

Runner Up: The Enclosed
Cost: $55 for a one-time gift, $150 for a three-month subscription, $275 for a six-month subscription, $500 for a year-long subscription (all one pair per box)
The Dirt: The Enclosed came in second place in terms of packaging and presentation; the super pretty lace underwear arrived in a box filled with scented flower petals. The Enclosed is meant more as a gift to send to someone else, allowing you to include a personalized message with your box (but let’s be real, who doesn’t love to buy gifts for themselves?). While they may be a bit on the pricier side, the presentation and overall quality are worth the cost. I was super pleased with the pretty silk-and-lace pair I received. Though, if you're looking for simple, cotton basics, this may not be the box for you.
Code: Enter NYLON to receive 10% off any order, expires May 31.
Cost: $24.95 for a monthly subscription (one pair a month), $39.95 for a bi-monthly subscription (two pairs every two months), $54.95 for a quarterly subscription (three pairs every three months), or the #Undervention, a set of seven pairs of underwear for $129.95
The Dirt: Underclub is all about quality and sending boxes that are specifically tailored to your style and fit preferences. After filling out a questionnaire, you’ll be sent a pair (or two, or three, or seven) depending on your responses. The super-detailed survey really gets to the bottom of what will fulfill your needs, from asking about preferred styles and colors, to asking about your current gripes so that they can combat them (from the crotch panel being too long to straps being too wide). I was extremely happy with the selection they sent me.

Cost: $12 per box (contains two pairs of underwear)
The Dirt: Bootay Bag subscribers have three options for their boxes: thongs only, non-thongs only, or a combo of both. While the styles of each thong and non-thong (full coverage and comfortable, but still sexy!) will vary, there’s no need to worry, they promise that they’ll “never surprise you with granny panties.”
Code: Enter “NYLONBABE” to get 30% off your first month.
Cost: $15 per month for a box (three pairs of underwear per box)
The Dirt: You get to choose between briefs-only, thongs-only, or a variety in your box of three styles. This box is definitely the best bang for your buck, getting you three pairs a month for the lowest price of all. Styles tend to be more on the colorful and fun side, rather than neutral basics, so if you like statement-making undies, this is the box for you.
Code: Enter “NYLON25” to receive 25% off your first month.
Cost: $14 per month for a subscription to the Design of the Month, $42 for a 3 pack, $78 for a 6 pack, $120 for a 10 pack, or—wait for it—$4,000 for a 365-pack (just in case you need a new pair for every day of the year)
The Dirt: Every month, Me Undies sends subscribers the “design of the month,” a special print that is available in every cut: cheeky brief, bikini, boyshort, a modal thong, and a lacy thong. On top of the monthly subscription, you can also choose to purchase packs of each style, from 3 to 365-pair packs. They also offer a subscription for men, so if you need to drop a hint to someone special in your life that those old, mangy boxers have to go, you can do so in a subtle way. I ordered the cheeky brief, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever owned a more comfortable pair of undies.
Cost: For sizes S-XL: $13.99 for one month, $13.50 per month for three months, $13.33 per month for six months, $13 per month for one year. For sizes 1X to 3X: $16.99 for one month, $16.49 per month for three months, $16.33 per month for six months, $16 per month for one year. Each box contains three pairs of underwear.
The Dirt: We love that Splendies offers subscriptions of undies from sizes XS to 3X—the only one of the group to be so size inclusive. You’re able to choose from all thongs, no thongs, or a surprise variety of styles. Each month has a theme, such as “Bright and Bold” or holiday specials, so you can always expect to receive something different than the previous month.
