Ella Emhoff’s Batsheva Collaboration Is Here

Including a bag and two knitted tops.

Since hinting at and officially announcing a collaboration at the beginning of the year, Ella Emhoff’s Batsheva collection is finally here.

Revealed on Friday via Emhoff’s own Instagram account, the three pieces — a crochet bag, a knit corset top, and a granny circle top — are available for pre-order now and only for a limited time until May 7. The collection ranges in price from $150 for the bag to $250 for the crocheted top, which comes in a variety of colors from sizes small to large, and $280 for the ruffled and floral-printed corset (in sizes XS to XL).

“Knits are new to me entirely, I’ve only really done a few pieces, so it to work with someone else on it,” designer Batsheva Hay told Vogue. “And I’ve definitely not done knit accessories. It was great to feel that we could make just one accessory and put it out there like that.”

Emhoff first joined forces with Hay back in January to create a one-of-a-kind dress for one of her multiple appearances during the 2021 presidential inauguration. It was one of the outfits that suddenly turned her into a style icon, and ever since, she’s landed a modeling contract with IMG, magazine covers, and walked runway shows during fashion week.

The 21-year-old is also wrapping up her senior year at Parsons, where she’s currently focusing on knitwear. Her passion for and growing expertise in the craft has also sparked a trending interest in the cozy medium across Instagram, which has also helped put more indie knitwear designers in the (social media) spotlight.

Emhoff’s Batsheva collection isn’t the first time she released her own knitwear for sale. In February, she offered five one-of-one pieces that quickly sold out, which means we have a feeling demand for this new drop will be just as big.
